Southeast Raleigh Promise Benefits from the Mighty Give Back

We are delighted to announce our partnership with the United Way of the Greater Triangle as Southeast Raleigh Promise participates in this year’s Mighty Give Back Main Event Celebration. This exciting event is set to take place on Saturday, October 7th, at the Red Hat Amphitheater, featuring headlining acts Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, along with Durand Jones and Aaron Lee Tasjan. Jason Isbell, a four-time Grammy Award-winning Americana singer-songwriter, promises an unforgettable performance.

Co-hosted by Band Together and the United Way of the Greater Triangle, the Mighty Give Back aims to make a significant impact on the rising housing costs that are rendering homes unaffordable for individuals and families experiencing poverty. Our collective goal is to raise over $1 million, ensuring that residents and families across the Triangle region have access to safe and stable housing where they can flourish.

To achieve this goal and in addition to generous corporate and individual sponsorships, each participating nonprofit organization has committed to raising $10,000 towards the $1 million event target. The funds generated through the Mighty Give Back will be equitably distributed among our 20 Impact Partners.

With our strengthened focus on addressing housing insecurity in our community, Southeast Raleigh Promise is excited to be a part of this incredible initiative and to share our story with a broader audience.
