Creating Housing Opportunities

In July 2022, Southeast Raleigh Promise was awarded combined funding of $3M from the City of Raleigh and Wake County to develop 27 affordable rental units on ten (10) city-owned parcels located in Southeast Raleigh. The $7.8M project will serve households with incomes between 30% - 80% AMI and offer a variety of housing types, including duplexes, single-family, townhomes, and ADUs. The project is expected to break ground in the first quarter of 2024.

Preserving Neighborhoods

We’re so grateful for all the volunteers and community partners who came together to provide critical repairs and updates to four homes in Idlewood Village, Kingwood Forest, and Parkside of Raleigh, established Black neighborhoods in Southeast Raleigh.

A special thanks to Rebuilding Together of the Triangle, who provided the expertise, and to Wells Fargo for funding and volunteer support.
