Congratulations! Director of Partnerships & Beacon Site Success Graduates from Leadership Raleigh
Congratulations to our Director of Partnerships & Beacon Site Success, Charles McCall, on graduating from Class 51 of the Greater Raleigh Chamber’s Leadership Raleigh program, one of the region’s premier leadership development programs.
Leadership Raleigh, a program of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, is one of the nation’s longest-running community leadership initiatives. With more than 55 years of developing civic and business leaders, the ten-month program joins professionals from across the region and industries to explore the opportunities and challenges shaping the Triangle. Participants engage with business, government, education, healthcare, and nonprofit leaders through hands-on experiences, collaborative discussions, and community impact projects.
As members of Class 51, Charles and fellow leaders developed a broader understanding of the issues affecting Raleigh and the Triangle community, while also building intentional, meaningful relationships with peers committed to making a positive impact.
The program concluded on June 2. A graduation retreat gave participants space to reflect on their experiences, celebrate project achievements, and recognize the relationships formed throughout the year.
Here’s how Leadership Raleigh organizers summed up the conclusion of the program: “The retreat felt like the perfect pause. It gave us time to step away, reflect, celebrate our project work, hear from other teams, set our intentions, share a meal, take a few photos, laugh a little, and just enjoy being together one more time.”
Reflecting on the experience, Charles said, “Leadership Raleigh challenged me to see our community with a deeper perspective of the people and organizations, and the opportunities and challenges that shape it.” He added: “The experience sharpened my commitment to listening and learning and reinforced the value of working collaboratively to make a meaningful difference.”
Charles said, looking ahead, his goal is to “apply these insights and leverage connections to deepen Southeast Raleigh Promise partnerships, support our Beacon Site campus and its partners, and help create greater opportunities for the communities we serve.”
We congratulate Charles on this milestone. We look forward to the continued impact of his leadership, community engagement, and partnership-building efforts across our organization and the communities we serve.
