Southeast Raleigh Promise is proud to announce the recipients of its first-ever Rock Quarry Road Corridor Small Business Alliance Promise in Action Grant, an initiative created to strengthen and grow small businesses in Southeast Raleigh.

Powered by a $25,000 investment from the Duke Energy Foundation, this micro-grant initiative reflects the power of public-private-community partnership focused on entrepreneurship, economic vitality, and long-term investment in the Rock Quarry Road Corridor and surrounding area.

“We are excited to partner in this effort and serve as a bridge connecting small business owners along Rock Quarry Road to resources and opportunities essential for a business to thrive,” said Southeast Raleigh Promise CEO Yvette Holmes. “This initiative reflects what is possible when local entrepreneurs, community organizations, and corporate partners come together with a shared commitment to supporting small businesses and creating opportunity throughout our community.”

Now, the grant money will help improve my marketing and increase my inventory.”

The Rock Quarry Road Small Business Alliance was created as part of Southeast Raleigh Promise’s economic vitality component to strengthen the Rock Quarry Road Corridor as a vibrant economic hub where small businesses can grow, thrive, and prosper while serving the community.

Thank you to the Duke Energy Foundation, our planning team, entrepreneur support partners, and the many small business owners helping shape the future of Southeast Raleigh.
