Neighbors, Partners Unite at Beacon Ridge For National Night Out

It was a night of unity, community, and family fun during National Night Out August 5 at Beacon Ridge Apartments at the Beacon Site, our Purpose Built Community Campus!

It was a lively and spirited evening of food, fun, family, and community connection. That’s exactly what National Night Out is all about! From face painting, games, balloons and music to handheld eats by Café Orleans and great conversations with neighbors and partners, the energy was genuine and upbeat.

Shoutout to our awesome partners: DHIC, Community Management Corporation, SE Raleigh YMCA, SE Raleigh Elementary, and Self-Help. And another shoutout goes to our community partners who made our National Night Out complete: Raleigh Police Department, the Raleigh Fire Department, Wake Tech, Dress for Success, Kira’s Kreative Painting, and DJ All Night. Special appreciation goes to Raleigh District C City Councilman Corey Branch for joining us, too. And, of course, we applaud our welcoming hosts: the residents at Beacon Ridge!

National Night Out is all about strengthening neighborhood spirit and building strong partnerships between communities and local law enforcement. It is a night when neighbors come together to stand united for a safer, more caring place to live.

Here’s to a safer, stronger, more connected Southeast Raleigh!
