Mixed-Income Housing & Real Estate

Our Approach

We work to create and preserve safe, high-quality, and affordable housing choices for renters and homeowners. Strong, mixed-income communities offer stability, a diverse social fabric, and the opportunity to build generational wealth through homeownership. We supplement these efforts with innovative anti-displacement strategies to keep our neighbors in their homes.

One Step Closer to Delivering on the “Promise of Home”

We have secured financing for our first affordable housing development, taking a major step toward creating stable, mixed-income neighborhoods rooted in opportunity. The project will bring 25 affordable homes to nine city-owned parcels near downtown through a coordinated effort with public, private, and community partners to keep Southeast Raleigh a place where families can build and belong.

Legacy Resident Ambassadors Voices Strengthen City’s Home Repair Programs

Preserving Neighborhoods

More than 100 volunteers and partners came together for the 4th Annual Southeast Raleigh Home Preservation Volunteer Event, making repairs for legacy residents, advancing an affordable home, improving local parks, and restoring the Walnut Creek Wetlands.

The day also honored longtime community leaders and celebrated Southeast Raleigh’s history, reinforcing that true revitalization happens when every neighbor is included.
